Shipping Your Carburetor – Limited Time “We Pay Half of Shipping”

What we are buying.

We buy (I/O and inboard) marine carburetors that are complete and rebuildable. The carburetor doesn’t have to be beautiful, just a  rebuildable marine carburetor that is pictured on our home page. If it is not pictured on our home page or listed on our carburetor inventory form, please call or email us and get an authorization number to be sent with your carburetor(s).

A good rule of thumb – if your inboard or I/O marine carburetors were removed from vessels that are newer than 1974, the core value will be $30-$70 each.

We do not purchase outboard carburetors.

We do not purchase Volvo Penta Fuel Pump Assemblies/Mercruiser “Cool Fuel” Modules and OMC Fuel pump reservoirs at this time.

Packing Your Carburetor(s) and F.P.A.’s For Shipping

It is o.k. ship multiple carburetors/Fuel Pump Assemblies together in one box. Pack tightly with newspaper or packing material so carburetors will not move or collide with each other.

U-Haul usually has boxes available. A good box for shipping carburetors is the medium 3.0 sq. ft – it has handles and costs approx. $1.50. Remember a large roll of tape for sealing the box (approx. $2.50). We suggest layering the bottom of the box with carburetors or Fuel Pumps and then covering with a layer of corrugated box or thick carboard. Place a second layer of cores on top then fill remaining space with corrugated scrap or packed paper to keep cores from moving during shipping. Maximum UPS shipping weight is 70 pounds.

Make sure to include with the carburetors: your name, (for check payment) address, phone number and/or email address. We will pay for half of your shipping when we issue a check. If you are sending marine carburetor(s) not listed on our home page please call or email for an approval prior to sending.
